Founded in 1984 by Dr. Marcy L. Smurthwaite, Rosenthal Chiropractic Clinic is backed with 19 years of clinical experience.   Dr. Smurthwaite, a native of Florida, has been a resident of Pinellas County since 1984.  She went to Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, GA and received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.  Dr. Smurthwaite specializes in Activator Method Chiropractic Technique and has been Advanced Proficiency rated since 1987.  She has taken over 100 hours in Spinal Rehabilitation and studied with ACES, a group founded by Dr. Vladimir Janda.  She is Certified with The American Association of Laser Technology. Dr. Smurthwaite usually accumulates more hours of required continuing education than required by the state of Florida.  Every year Dr. Smurthwaite and her husband give their time in Mexico visiting numerous villages with her portable table.  She treats as many Mayans as possible during that time.  Dr. Smurthwaite is the second doctor in Florida and the first in the Tampa Bay area to have this cold laser technology.
